Assignments and Licences

When intellectual property changes hands rights must be assigned in writing and recorded on appropriate registers. We can advise and act for you when acquiring or disposing of intellectual property rights, anywhere in the world.

Proprietors of registered rights may also wish to license their use to others. We can provide licensing advice, both preparing and recording licences, and giving guidance on the best means of protecting licensed property rights.

Changes, such as the name or address of a registered rights holder, must also be recorded and we handle such procedures routinely, as and when they arise.
